Re: Barker Pass area

That looks like a fun ride. Didn't realize you could ride back there.

Re: Upgraded finally

Yeah I saw the memorial posts for your friends. That's truly unfortunate. I was going to come up for the ride this weekend but my rhino still needs tires and I can fund that purchase for a few more weeks. Plus I want to put a new belt in there. I don't like going up into the woods with a machine tha...

Re: 11th Annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial - Sep 23-25, 2016

I started thinking about it and unfortunately my back tires are about shot. I don't wanna be the one getting stuck with a flat cause my machine wasn't up to par. I'm gonna have to sit this one out. Thanks for the invite tho.

Re: 11th Annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial - Sep 23-25, 2016

If I'm not working I'd like to make a day trip out of it at least. Won't know until the day before but I have a new to me rhino that would be fun to put to the test.

Re: Upgraded finally

Seems like this forum is about dead. Do you guys still ride? It would be nice to find people to ride with.

Upgraded finally

Sold the old honda foreman 450 and picked up an 0u rhino 660. Mostly stock with 27 inch bald tires, race line wheels, aftermarket cage, prp race seats, lights, and supposedly a big bore kit in it. Needs a few things, fixing an oil leak this week and I need tires once I recover from the purchase. I c...

Re: Wolverine - old name, new machine!

If I could afford 2 aces I would be all over it.the big thing right now is my girlfriend likes to ride along with me and my foreman wasn't meant for 2 up. That's the drawback of the 500. It looks tippy for sure but I need to get behind the wheel and try it out. I really do like the wolverine, just n...

Re: Wolverine - old name, new machine!

Yeah the net thing is weird but removable, so no big deal. I know the 500 is small but it fits in a truck bed which is nice and it's light. Fitting down tight trails would be cool and most people say it has plenty of power. I'm coming off a foreman 450 that had plenty and this motor is more refined....

Re: Wolverine - old name, new machine!

Well I got a pretty decent size down payment together for a machine. Just have to go in and talk to the dealers. I have officially narrowed it down to either a wolverine or a honda pioneer 500 or 700. The 500 looks like a blast and almost a hybrid between a sxs and a quad.

Re: Dutch flat

We drop off right outside of Dutch flat by the first lake. It can get busy but usually it's not too bad. The Lowell Hill side is kinda closed off. We used to ride from youbet over to Dutch flat when I was a kid. I never have problems on the tracks, I work for the railroad but still don't ever see an...

Re: Rides off I-80 and Foresthill

Anyone ever try to make it to the faucherie waterfalls on the back side of the lake? I have heard there may still be a way. Probably not legal... I know if you go across the levee to the parking lot there is a trail that looks to be blocked off but could easily be run around. The hill going down to ...

Re: Rides off I-80 and Foresthill

I'll look into the Washington option. Also need to go look at the 89 entrance. I have a friend with a safe spot to park not far from Truckee if I go in that way.

Re: Rides off I-80 and Foresthill

Yeah I was more referring to leaving a trailer for a few days somewhere when we camp up there. It sucks pulling a trailer all the way to sawmill.
