Register out of state ATV in CA

Thanks to everyones input on past topics. I bought a 07 H1 AC off eBay for 5889, from AZ. I would like a heads up in registering it here in CA. I hear good and bad stories dealing with DMV. Good- Reg a Suzuki Samurai with a 1.8 VW turbo diesel. Bad- 85 Vett motor in a 79 Blazer with 1 ton drive train.

Thanks for the input. I bought my cars from a internet fleet sale company and they were all new cars. The only ATV I would even think of buying for Ebay would have to be new, as I like to to brake the motors in and want a warranty. But with this kind of info, I could call around and ask for OTD pric...

Buy a ATV off Ebay?

Now, I have bought 3 cars over the internet locally in CA. And saved a great deal on the price, but had to drive as far as Sac and San Fran to get them. I could have them delivered for more money, but just as easy to pick them up. I see there are number of ATV on Ebay at prices lower than the local ...

On the tippyness thing, I own a Yamaha Warrior. And for a sport quad, very tippy and very bad brake dive and cut. But, working your body weight can manage most of the problems. I'm more interested in the mechanics for this bikes. How low of gearing, how well they crawl, engine braking, steering cont...

Thanks Ken, d2photo, Traildad and Wllride. The tipsiness of the cat is no big thing, after driving a Samurai on 33's with 24" wheel travel on the street. Pismo- we would go out mid-week, really the best. Then watch as the people start to pull in, some know what their doing, most don't. By Saturday, ...

I'm new here-input on 4x4 ATV

Like it said. Nice website BTW. It was hard to find a ATV website that is aimed more to trail/rockcrawling. Anyway, in the pass I had a Suzuki Samurai rockcrawler(33's, gears, lockers) but sold it do to needing a daily driver and was going to Pismo alot with two sport quads. Now I am tired of the be...
