The orange ARTR (almost ready to run) has good parts. You choose the servo, motor, esc, etc, so however much you want to spend depends on the parts. The new RTC (ready to crawl) also has good parts and comes with everything in the box. IMO, the steering servo is the weak link, but if not abused will...

axial just came out with a new crawler. The old scorpion was called the RTR. its a piece of junk, dont waste your money. The ARTR (orange) is the best one, but you have to buy the electronics. The KIT is also good, but you have to put it together and buy electronics. The new one is the RTC (ready to...

its not the bighorns.

the brutes are notorious for doing this. I did it in moab in may in 6 inches of water. The problem is the front tires spray water up and into the front of the airbox, then it gets sucked up. If you want to ride a brute in any type of water, you have to snorker it. There are some really good threads ...

Im assuming you are talking about the "tyrepliers". Those are the ones that I was looking at getting, but I was a little unsure of how well they work. Thanks a million.

That was the "trial run" for that big a$$ box. It is already off the quad and stored in the attic with the rest of my useless crap.

Hey, who is the dummy on the blue quad trying to go through that sinkhole? Oh wait, its the same one that led the way up the horrible hill that scared everyone to death. Great ride though, and worth every second of it.

I think im going to order one of the Axial ARTR packages from CKRC. They have the best prices, and I can mix and match the components that I want. Im not going to go hog wild, "yet".

thats great info. I have been into RC's for a while. I have a revo 2.5 to bash, a slash for more bashing, and I just bought a Summit to bash and crawl. That thing really got me hooked on the crawling part, so i figured i would give it a try. Anyway, whats another toy in the collection, right?

thanks. I look on rccrawler, but they have so much info on that site, it is overwhelming. I have a revo, a summit, and a slash. I probably can use my revo tx, and buy another tx with a set of crystals. My main concern is the motor and esc. I have also heard different opinions on the kit or the artr.

Axial AX10

Do any of you die hard crawlers have an Axial AX10. If so, I have a few questions. Im looking to get one.

The kit or ARTR?
Which motor?
Which ESC?
Which rx/tx?
Which steering servo?

So many choices, its overwhelming.
