Re: miyagi 9
Well, I have some concerns about the Saturday ride. Looks like Gaston Rd (the one into Washington) is closed to everything but licensed for the street vehicles. I have looked at the MVUM and cannot find any way to get to Washington legally. We may have to plan a different ride and just stop somewher...

Re: 9th Annual Mr. Miyagi Ride - Sept 12, 13, 14
Well, for one, it took you over a week (sorry, I had a month in there at first) to even reply to my "you suck" comment! Not everyone knows that it has "always been" the second weekend. Lots have been asking and you have been MIA. That is all. I take it back, you don't suck, you're on top of things. ...

Best place I know of to stage with a toy hauler is at the end of Hirschale Rd just past Truckee. You take the Hirschdale exit, turn left and just follow that road (it turns into Boca Rd) to where it "T's". That T is Henness Pass and from there you can ride just about anywhere. If you turn right on H...

Yep, thinking SxS for sure. I love the quad, but I just don't have the space to have both. Not to mention I haven't ridden since we went to Meadow/Bowman in Oct 2012.

Re: Cadillac Hill
Going down, the hair pin is after Morris Rock, it's the last "major" obstacle before you descend into the Springs. Since the improvement with the concrete at the base, it has become much easier IMHO. The approach angle on Morris was also greatly improved, getting rid of the nasty hole at the base. M...

Re: Need help finding maps of Steam Shovel trail -Fallon NV
Found this little excerpt on another site. I plugged those coordinates into Google Earth and found the ranch house. Found what looks to be the beginning of the trail as well. Goes a ways up into the hills and then branches off into multiple trails, typical of those Nevada mining roads. Steam Shovel ...

MAP sensor going bad. How do I know? I now own a 2013 XP 850.. You should throw a code and the wrench icon will be illuminated on the pod. Mine came on a couple of rides ago. When I took the plastic off to check it, I found that it had come unplugged. I don't think it was fully seated at the factor...

I usually order stuff like that from Babbitt's, but their price on your starter was high. Did a quick search and came up with this: http://www.amazon.com/2008-2009-Polaris-SPORTSMAN-TOURING-STARTER/dp/B009QGWA02/ref=sr_1_13?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1368120186&sr=1-13&keywords=polaris+sportsman+800+s...
