Less flats too. I use to alway run really high pressure on a old quad (20 years ago) because I rode on the pavement alot, but always got flats.
With the lower pressure I hardly get flats, (until i got the big horns, mine seem to get a puncture just by looking at them)

Damn I need to get back to the dunes in OR, haven't been in 5 years or so. I use to go all the time 12 years ago.
I remember when you didn't need resevations, you could sand camp anywhere, and the sand was smooth. You would only see a few people.

I run 1 psi on mine in the sand. Never blown a bead and in the sand it would be easy if they were going to blow.

Get some Klim gear. Thats what I have for sledding. After 4 seasons I sent it back in to be "repaired" and the sent back all new gear including gloves. The only thing I didn't get replaced were the boots.

Been on that Milton Bowman tunnel pipe a few times. I alway go by it when I make my loop. That is where I get off Heness Pass Road and cout over to bowman lake road again.

I guess I will just have to test my luck. If its dirt, its open. If it paved and a short distance, Its open. Haul ass.
