kinda started everything at the same time, got the seals done on one side, will do the rest when we have time, this looks like an easer fix than we thought, but after we pit it all togather a test ride will tell, atleast we have snow to give the 4wd a worken.

I doubt our dealer would let anyone borrow anything, heck you can't even test ride a quad, just look and pay.
to take the secondary clutch off just take out center bolt, and slide it off?
just like a snowmobile I would guess.

I need narrower wheels for the front, have to run ...

Holly cow info man, this site is pretty cool, I really think that yellow button did work on the 700 because, the front end lifted right up out of the snow when pushed, didn't do that if you didn't push it. hey how do you attach pics? I gonna have to try somethings here. how many people license, thei...

so you are saying the 4 wheel drive system is automatic, kinda like what I have on my GMC yukon, does the yellow button on the left side have anything to do with the locker, I know it switches 4 wheel in reverse. Also, I rode a 04 700 efi last weekend and what a difference pushing that yellow button...

I guess I found the right place for questions on my 04 sportsman 500ho. just got back from a trip to the black hills, had a blast, winch is a must, spring snow dropped 14 inches, 500 worked hard, (I got to lead). Time for the first question, does the 04 500ho h...
