I wish they'd build a Fry's out towards Folsom... I've heard about Sportsmans Warehouse, supposed to be great as you say!

All the accessories are all from www.everythingoffroad.com. The rear of the cage only bolts in to the side of the bed, but I think it still offers decent protection. The fit of the cage was pretty close. It comes as a single welded unit. We had to do just a bit of grinding on one corner to get it al...

A naked rhino in my shop!

Helping a buddy of mine convert his Rhino to a 4-seater... Pretty slick machine for what he's after. http://rocknroll4x4.com/uploader/files/1/dscn1046.jpg http://rocknroll4x4.com/uploader/files/1/dscn1051.jpg http://rocknroll4x4.com/uploader/files/1/dscn1052.jpg If you know anyone looking for a stoc...

Cool mapping/waypoint site

This is a really cool GIS/GPS site integrated with Google maps satellite photos. I've added a few trails - Rubicon, Fordyce, a few Hammers trails.

http://www.wikiloc.com

You can enter "4x4" into the tags, or a particular trail name. Download tracks+waypoints, etc. Pretty nifty!

will proably end up paying the difference in shipping, but if these work out, will get them in bulk and see if Ken and Larry want in to help spread the cost. . . Ever decide anything on filters? I need to replace my fuel filter on my LB7. Napa wants $47. If you guys are still going to order any let...

The big difference on the Allison is that it will keep the torque converter locked up all the way down to 20MPH. It will downshift all the way down to this speed, just like you'd do with a manual. I love it when coming down icehouse. I just let it drift and the Allison does all the work. I was curio...

Actually, autos in big trucks are pretty common... And guess who makes most of them? Allison!

BTW, here's the first 2 things you should buy for your truck. #1. Install one of these at your first oil change http://www.kennedydiesel.com/detail.cfm?ID=212#N-Type You'll discover the oil drain is right above the skid plate. After making a mess of it several times, I finally installed one of these...

The reason the tire places won't put bigger tires on them is because the factory rims are 7", and nothing wider/bigger than stock is spec'd for such narrow rims. Now even with other rims I've heard some places (Costco) won't put bigger tires on them (like that stupid lawsuit), but any excuse like th...

That is pretty cool.

[BTW, if you don't have earth handy (or on a system that won't run it) you can paste those coords right into http://maps.google.com , click on 'Satellite' and zoom 'er right in there. Kind of nifty]
