#12 is the metal hub inside the bottom housing bushings. I am talking about the actual bushings at the bottom of the shock itself. Where bolt and nut (17 & 18 ) go inside. My brothers Wolverine was doing a similar thing, but it also was causing the engine to miss. We ripped it apart, including unplugging all the wires to the speedo, and looked for anything. Never found anything. Plugged it all back in and its worked perfect since. Maybe just a loose contact somewhere....
