Re: Burned up,, so some upgrades...

Take the speakers off of it, drive a 2011 Polaris 850 XP under them, reattach. Problem solved. :)

Re: Alloy vs Steel lug nut ???

Yes you will. Rocky Mountain ATV carries them, a little over a buck a piece. It's a 3/8 X 24 fine thread tapered lug nut.

Re: I found oil in my clutch cover...

If you're smart, you can make your pre 2006 act like that too. I don't have to depress the brake to shift. 8)

Re: Secondary compression tool...

No, I surely don't. I swapped mine, but I swapped the whole thing for an 800 one. I heeded the many warnings in the Poo manual about imminent death if you chose to take that thing apart. LOL

Re: Auburn Powersports Update

Oy vey! Pick a frigging spot already!! I like them where they are, except they could use a little updating. Funny, when I was there a month ago, they were furiously working on updates inside and now they're frigging leaving all that behind?? Rent at the new place (OTD location) must be ridiculous, b...

Re: clucth kit

Depends on you really. Can you change a belt in your garage? The kit I installed only required a spring and weight change. Took me a little longer than a belt change, because I pulled the clutch to swap the spring. You'll need a clutch puller, I made one by machining the center out of a 3/4" bolt an...

Rimfire is the difference. They "allow" higher cap magazines for rimfire cartridges.

Re: clucth kit

Yes it will. You may not need an entire kit, sometime a simple spring change or weight change will get you what you want. I switched to an '06 800 clutch recently and I can't believe how much of a difference it made!! I had/have a Dalton kit in my old clutch and it worked great. The driven clutch on...
