Lots of mines, old mills, shacks and various "ruins". The state is covered with abandoned history.

I've been all over North Western Nevada. It's almost all BLM land and almost all open. As far as Rocks, there's no large areas that I'm familiar with. 1. Clothing that will stop the wind. I believe a complete wind barrier is the key. Something as simple as a cheap raingear (no yellow Gordon Fisherman crap) can make a huge difference. Then if it doesn't seal well enough, duct tape will seal any gaps in your clothing (such as pantlegs to you boots)....

The 1000 (or an identical twin) is sold at some Kragen Auto Parts stores. I just got a Motovan front box for my Rincon. It's a pretty solid box and may even withstand a rollover, although I hope not to test that theory. It's not a big box, but will hold smaller stuff well, and was 80 something bucks (for the colored boxes)at http://www.shadetreepowersports.com.
