Re: Out and back on Soda Springs Road

Yes that picture was taken down from where there is a yellow sign that Fish and Game posted about not having loaded guns in the wild life perserve. We turned right after that sign and the trail got very narrow so we turned around then went past the sign in the other direction and ended up on another...

Re: Out and back on Soda Springs Road

I was riding up there today as well. The two of us staged at Robinson Flat and rode to Serene Lakes and then hit a few other trails off Soda Springs Road. It was an excellent day for riding.
The only other quad we saw was Blue in color.

Re: Bowman and Pinoli Peak

We had such a good ride on Sunday that other riders wants us to take them next weekend, do you think the storm will bring much snow between Washington and Alleghaney? If so it would probably melt fairly quick, don't ya think?

Washington to Alleghaney

Perfect riding conditions! Almost no dust and no snow on the trails from Washington to Alleghaney, and the temps were ideal. We rode 67 miles after we kinda went the wrong way, took a route that took us through Graniteville on the way to Alleghaney, we wanted to see Graniteville someday anyway. We p...

Re: Poker Run From Washington

my thinking is that it won't snow again for a while and the snow that is there will melt enough to not be a problem. i hope to get a ride together in the next week or two.

Re: Poker Run From Washington

Alleghaney will be our next ride. We heard about it from some of the folks that rode in the poker run. I did some research on Alleghaney and it will be a fun trip, we are thinking about either staying at the River Rest Resort in Washington again or staging off Bowman Rd for just a day trip. Hopefull...

Poker Run From Washington

Everybody had a great time on the Poker Run, it was about 22 miles and there was about 35 riders. I have never rode in deep dust like what we encountered on a section of the trail, I was riding next to a buddy and the dust came over his quad like a wave over the bow of a boat, i was laughing my ass ...

Re: GMRS Radio

The Collett Radio's look to be good quality with lots of other inputs for phone and music, that is exactly what i was looking for. They are more than what i wanted to spend and i can use the GMRS radio's for other things. i am using the headsets for the open face helmet, hopefully not too much noise...

Re: Miyagi 2012 Route

That trip looked like it was a great ride and was probably a lot of fun with the all people that went.

The route looked long, how many miles was it?

I wonder how I could load that route into my Garmin?

Great Pictures too.

Meadow Lake 8/3/2012 to 8/5/2012

I made it to Meadow Lake. By the time we got there it was 9:30pm and very dark ,my family was very upset with me so i found a place to park, unload, eat dinner and get everyone to bed. When I woke the next morning, I walked down and talked to Jerry the camp host and he said all the spots where paid ...
