Funny, my Pops in law just got ride of a couple of Hebo GasGas trials bikes. He bought them, completely restored 'em and then sold 'em. He thought his worthless 18 year old son would enjoy riding but he's too fawkin lazy to do anything semi outdoorsy. I'm trying to talk him into a quad now. I think ...

*#^$!@# DMV!!!
So I buy my quad used from a guy here locally. We notice it has a red sticker (Polaris Sportsman 700 - '04 model). Curious, I ask dude why? He has no clue (very ignorant guy here) and said he had no issues riding it, no rangers questioned him or anything. OK, a little research on the DMV web site sh...

Yeah, I gotta say, that thing was tore up!! Because of one problem, it led to probably 5 or 6 others. Like Ken said, something to keep an eye on, especially for those of you that rock crawl. I think with the new welds and gussets, it's not going anywhere for a long time. I just hope we can remember ...

That's the kind of thing the media should be covering. Maybe that could be a segment on the Tonight Show, like the ones where he goes into the street asking the people what most of us consider to be ridiculously obvious questions. Just goes to show the world is full of stupid sheeple and misleading,...

Well, there were way too many people out there on Saturday for anyone to be racing. I did notice a couple of people not really paying attention to the speed limit however. I know there's really no money and not nearly enough manpower, but on busy weekends, I might suggest they put some kind of law e...

Very cool, I just spent the last 20 minutes downloading the 700/800 manual though and it's for '05 models with EFI. So I have all 117 MB of it, in case anyone is interested. I'm sure I can use most of it, just gotta replace EFI with "carb" wherever it refers to it. LOL Body, trans and motor should b...

Nope, I removed the top half of the pod, twisted and turned, held my mouth right and got the front plastics off. They only come off one way, pull all the way to the drivers side of the handle bars, slip over and then back to get off the passenger side. Man, the price of plugs has gone thru the roof,...

To hell with the nay sayers, my fuel gauge works!!! Took me longer to get all the gawddamn plastic off than it did to install the sending unit. Cost me $32 for one off eBay, about 3 hours of time and I have a functional fuel gauge. I took some pics too, I'll work on getting those posted in the next ...

A big thank you to everyone involved in the FH trail maintenance group!! We went up yesterday and rode, and I gotta say, the trails are in GREAT shape!! Ran into some water here and there, but the trails were clear and very clean. Must have been well over 100 riders up there yesterday and probably 3...
