Rubicon riding in May

Postby The Retreaver » Sat Feb 17, 2007 6:31 pm

Hey Guys,
You all seem pretty familar with the Rubicon trails and I would like to set something up for the first part of May. I have vacation from May 11th -20th and usually go to Moab but am looking for something a little closer. Do you think the trails will be open then? Would like to do several days of riding .
What do ya all think? anyone game.
Thanks
Keith

You should be fine in May. I was on the rubicon yesterday. We went in from wentworth springs and rode into the granite bowl. There is no more that two feet of snow in places. There is alot of water. I will be posting pictures soon.

I think a few of us would go...I think it's a bit premature to plan a trip in May....since normally going in early May would be impossible. We still have to wait how the snow will shake out....last year we got dumped on in March and April.
