Private Messages

Postby FishaHallic » Fri Mar 16, 2007 4:53 pm

I see that there is a area on the top of the home screen that says private messages and I can click into there and check for messages but is there another way to tell if I have a pm without clicking into the box. I quess what I'm asking is will the website alert me to a pm or do I have to go into the private messages area to check for a pm? Thanks for the help

Its usually a pop-up window - so a pop-up blocker would prevent it

When i signed up, there must have been an option for notification as I've recieved an e-mail to my regular box to let me know.

If you click on the "profile" button above you have the option of having an email sent when you receive a PM.

Larry is correct.

In your profile, you have the option of PM's being notified by a pop-up windown, email sent to the email in your profile or both.

Of course, a pop-up blocker would stop the PM pop-up. So just allow Popups on this site (don't worry, I have no pop up ads).
