Hola from the Northwest! I stumbled across the forum whilst searching google and figured I'd join and say hello.

Our family rides mostly in Oregon; Morrow County OHV park is our home away from home, but we've also hit the Oregon Dunes, East Fort Rock and made our way down to Utah to ride Sand Hallow, Coral Pink Dunes, Bryce Canyon and the Paiute Trail.

Wife and I ride a couple Polaris 500s and the boys ride Honda Recons.

Spent most of my time over on RV.net but like to learn of other places to ride, so figured this looked like a good spot.

Forced family fun....LOL....that's exactly it.

Gotta have at least ONE thing they need you for, in order to do it when they're teenagers and hate you.

Postby recluse » Wed Feb 25, 2009 8:23 am

I met roon 101 at Prairei City on 2/24 and we stuck up a conversation. He directed me to this web site.

I am new to ATV stuff and need all the help I can get. I try to ride every week though.

Hello!

Postby Wildhorse800 » Tue May 05, 2009 6:26 pm

Hi all!
Wildhorse is my "handle" from back in the 80s on the CB. I had a Mustang, hence the name.
I am from WAAAAY over here in the great Keystone state of Pennsylvania, in the south-central mountain region.
Been riding for 28+ years on 2,3 and 4 wheeled machines. Polaris has been my #1 choice since my first ride on one in '96. It was a 1996 Scrambler 400 4x4, black and white that I changed over to purple and white. Sorry, the only quad that I have NO pics of. Sure don't miss lubing and adjusting 3 chains anymore!

Made sure i said hi so Ken doesn't bitch me out

This is pretty much the biggest ride I have driven(thats me in the middle):

Image
2008 Polaris SP800 HO
1999 Polaris SP500
2008 Suzuki M-50
1988 Honda VLX 600

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.
Everybody laughed!

Hey Mike....

No bitching....unless you REALLY piss me off...ROFL. Not.

Lots of Polaris folks here....so I think you'll find out good stuff....and we love pictures of riding from other areas...

Yup. Your best bet is either look for a ride or propose one and invite people.

We have a few "official" rides....some are spur of the moment...some are in advance...just depends.

Our main organized event is every September, it's the Mr. Miyagi Memorial ride...info is already posted. Everyone is invited.

web site

Postby camokids » Sun May 10, 2009 8:25 am

well i was heading to work one morning and i saw a car with a big "atvobsession.com" (white letters, gold colored car) decal in the back window. do you know anyone that lives in the LOP area? thats where i was when i saw the car. any way i checked out the site, saw that y'all ride the same areas of the Tahoe natl. forest as i my co-workers and myself do. we are always looking for new people and places to ride, so i'll keep a lookout for upcoming rides if y'all don't mind. i can tell you that the group i ride with is a laid back and respectful group. later "rod"...camokids

Ken and I both live in Auburn. THe car you saw was probably Lori's - Ken's significant other.

I live off Bell Rd and Ken lives off Dry Creek, so you're pretty dang close to us. 8)
