I've had two cars stolen over the years.
Cars are the modern day horses. I vote we bring back the punishment horse thieves used to get.

Good news, since it sounds like you did not have the insurance to cover the theft. A few bucks to fix it is better than getting nothing back.

Most likely will fix and sell to offset the newer truck purchase. Is really nice to have the crew cab v the extended cab with the little one. Even has the ass warmers (wifey likes this one)
Figure dump the resale to the closest to being paid off vehicle. Recover around $400 a month sooner
