Whippin' boy....

It's been a thought I've been pondering....

Life is all about the Food Chain...and in our world...Honda's are the mice. Unfortunately, we have no Hondas.

We may be reduced to teasing Larry for his BEAR PAW tires. They may say CLAW...but they act like Paw.

Of course....Larry tried to turn it on my tonight and say who put their quad on it's side....but my answer was...TRACTION did it.

Just got back...I'll post....great weekend...but depressing....more later.

Who is buying that yellow SP500?

I had a Rincon too... sold it because it was (IMO) incapable in heavily technical stuff due to no locker and no low range gear. It handled very, very well, but was slow as a pig too. My Grizzly 660 would eat it for lunch.

My new SP800EFI absolutely rocks. Heck it even outdoes my Grizzly in the rocks, which is something I wasn't sure would happen. The thing is unreal, and gets the same or better mileage as the Grizz.

Rob,
what rims do you have on your 800 EFI. I have those pretty looking aluminum with the fake bead locker. . . how torn up are they going to get on the rocks of the rubicon?

Mine are the black steel ones since the Camo model doesn't get the fancy aluminum ones (which I've heard are actually heavier than the steelies).

I would imagine your wheels are gonna get thoroughly scarred on the rocks. I've already scarred up both RH wheels on mine (plus the fender edges) from playing on the rocks up at Moonrocks last week. :)

I think it's one of those inevitable things on the rocks. The decision really is....slowly destroy the rims or use the cheap steelies and keep the nice ones for later resale.

I am agreeing with Ken. . . I am going to see if I can track down a cheap set of rims to put on there. . . anyone kow of ones i can get for next to nothing. I do not have the need at this time to buy new tires, so cannot go that route. . .
