I am going to be getting there friday I hope by noon. I am having a new Propane tank installed at the house. upgrading to a 500 gallon tank as the 250 was running out to quickly in the winter and do not want to have to fill up as much. they are supposed to be there @ 9, have to install the tank and then test to make sure there are no leaks or issues.

Ah..Bummer Dave...but have fun. Hadn't seen you since last year.

I was thinking the other day...the last time I actually saw Terry in person, was that infamous July Downieville ride.

All campsites are semi-improved. So to the USFS, that's only a table and firepit.

I was asked the following questions:

1) do we need a campfire permit?
2) can we collect wood or do we need to bring it up ourselves
3) I know we do not need reservations, but is there a price to camp and if so how much. . .

Not as long as I'm there...I have one.

Your choice. You'll most likely have to drive out to the woods to find wood.

This year, there is a fee. Not sure how much...$5 to $10, I imagine.

Given the time of year...I'm not anticipating any issues with campsite. Jack and Derrick are getting there before me on Thursday. Jack is going to put up plates with directions to the site.

I imagine we'll be at the left turn at the dance floor. There are some larger sites over there.

All dried and split.

Not a problem - I should be able to cover a few days worth - plenty of room in the truck.
