I'm still in Tahoe....visiting my cousin. Thanks for the photo teaser....

I can't tell you what a great weekend it was...The big surprise was TomZ showing up...sneaky bastard!

You guys are GOING TO ABSOLUTELY FLIP OUT at some of the videos and photos that Thomas Opre at Tahoe Films took of us on the trail....some insane stuff. On Friday and Saturday night, we watched Mountains and Mud and Sled Heads 2...awesome stuff. Let's hope our crazy rock crawling comes across on film.

The whole group was awesome....killer food....super margaritas and NEIL FREAKING DIAMOND! (inside joke)

The highlight for me....was passing around Terry's helmet and telling stories to remember him. Everyone, whether sad or funny....spoke from the heart...it was a fitting tribute.

Mark your calendars for Miyagi Memorial Ride II in 2007, Sept 14-17.

Rumor has it we are going to be back in the same spot we were this year. is this true or were we going to try to jump over to the Rubicon?

I vote for the same spot as it was a large area, not a ton of people and riding for all abilities. . .

I had a great time riding and hanging out with you guys. I can see how Terry fit in so easily. It was cool to see how many people appreciated our quirky little buddy, Terry. He was surrounded by good friends.

I look forward to being there next year. The riding, the camp fires, the Neil D... well, the camp fires.

Who knows, maybe by then I'll have a bike with 2 more wheels on it.

Terry enjoyed it....and it's logistically appropriate. Something for everyone...

Yeah..it was a freaky cold front...Friday was cold and snowy and the next day, it was upper 60's and by Sunday it was 75.

Terry's daughter Stephanie gave me him helmet. It will be a fixture every year.

Actually...the speeches were a mish mash...some tried to be upbeat (me and Will) but started to cry...some laughed. Both were great. Next year....the rule will be....you'll have to tell a story about Terry that's funny...even if you never met him, and he just caught your eye with some goofy post somewhere....

Fortunately...I have a million....
