2nd Annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial - DIRECTIONS INCLUDED!

Welcome to the official information of the 2nd Annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial. I hope everyone has had the dates on their calendar.
Remember EVERYONE, ANYONE is invited.
Unfortunately, there has been some confusion with the "closure", and I put that in quotes, of the Tahoe National Forest. I'm ending the confusion right now.
We are once again having this at Meadow Lake. I have downloaded the forest closure map from the USFS and THE ONLY trail closed around Meadow Lake is the Fordyce. That's it! Some "closure" huh?
There are SO MANY trails and road around this area....we could ride every day and explore new areas....and we will. This is going to be a real adventure type ride. We will plan on just riding and going "Ooh...let's go left and see where it goes!" The majority of the riding is novice to moderate. There's a few 4WD rides, but most is exploring type riding.
Dates: September 14, 15 and 16 (Friday, Sat, Sun)
Location: Meadow Lake
Directions:
From HWY 80
North on Hwy 89
(Toward Sierraville) (RESET odometer at exit)
14.8 miles Turn Left at Jackson Meadows
(Sign before turn says Weber Lake, Independence Lake and Jackson Meadows)
Go EXACTLY 9.7 miles (just past Weber Lake) turn left toward Meadow lake.
(There is no sign for Meadow lake...just a sign about fees at the lake, message board and blue 301 Forest Service Sign.)
It's 11.1 Miles to Meadow Lake.
(The road turns to dirt in about 100 yards.)
From Sierraville on 89
Turn left at Jackson Meadows and repeat above.
Exactly camp location at the lake unknown at the moment...but turn left at the Summit City sign...concrete dance floor on the right...we'll be somewhere on the left.
This is for Terry! Remember to get a physical this year!
