Well, Wayne and I just got into camp and got the tent up.

Oldtrucks and Mr.Bill are here.

The dance floor is packed.

We have the same spot as last year.

I do have a signal so more to come from camp later

Sorry I missed today - Fishaholic showed up last night and ATV'er got there around 11am this morning -

The Cal-Trans work was completed today with a lovely show of a REALLY big log rolling down the hill.

With us all wondering for a minute who's going to call EMS when it pulls Oldtrucks down there with it.

Does anyone else have a sat phone??

Any way We all viewed the Sledheads 3 last night. Worked out quite well with the setup (thanks Dusty).
Wayne and I had to leave early as today is Kims birthday and I really want to see my child when its born

I will get the photos I took on the trip to Ken by tomorrow - He is up there till monday so plan on seeing this set around January.. :P

We had a great time. Wonderful weather up there. Thanks for entertaining us Sat night. We made it back to Washington right on time. I made the turn on to Relief Hill rd and drove about a 100 yards when I felt something get harder to pull. A second later and one of the tires is screeching. I stopped and gave both of them a kick and they made it the last little bit. Whew! 8) I haven't looked to see how bad it is, but I think I will have to put something on that uses bearings.

Meadow Lakes Weekend

Postby Lander » Mon Sep 17, 2007 8:01 am

Loren and I had a wonderful time this weekend. Your a great bunch of people and we look forward to many more camping/riding trips with all of you. We had great nightly entertainment watching movies and looking at riding pictures. Thanks to all for making that happen!! We've never been to the Meadow Lakes area and have to say it is beautiful there and we plan on going back soon. Take care and I'll be looking for future trips!

What's up. Boy that was some fun. That long ride after watching Kendo do all of that hard work was great. It sure is nice riding like we did, high speed ride on those trails was fun and exciting and a little scary  several times for me. If it was not for the dust it would have been perfect, the weather was great and great people to ride with what more could you ask for? You know, after I got the dust mask even the dust did not bother me all that much.

Anyway thanks again for letting me tag along and I most definitely look forward to another ride soon.

I sure wish I could have made it. Rassin-frassin work. There ought to be a law. :)

Looks like the timing was pretty good, weather-wise. This is what it looked like outside my house this morning, and I'm a good 150' below Meadow Lake in elevation:

Of course that white stuff would have reduced the dust.
