Typical size matters guy, whips out the big 'un, no finesse and thinks it does the job.

Whereas, those of us that know how to use our smaller ones, can do so with finesse, working every angle and we KNOW we get the job done!!

Great job honey, now we'll have 8 TONS of firewood.
And who's going to split it all??

I can bring my Stihl with a 36 inch bar but i won't be there until Saturday evening.

I'll try to bring both of my saws one is a little 16" or something but it's a great little saw the other is a 20 or 22" and is just ok in my book. I'll be there early Saturday morning. I just need to buy a gas can, 2 stroke oil, chain bar oil, tent, and a few other things but I'll get em all done  . Oh yea and try to finish my winch install if possible. Anybody know of a good place to install the contactor on a 07 King quad?

Sounds like a job for The Stickler. You jack up your vehicle, unbolt one of your wheels, bolt on The Stickler, and you've got an instant wood splitting machine. My high school teacher used to use an early model of something like this and swore by it. Not sure if they make lug patterns to fit our wheels...

Bill can vouche for me on this one - I just recently cut 15-20 ft (length) of the same situation with my 20" not but a few months ago - took me a few hours while splitting at the same time.

Should not be a problem - I'm bringing the stuff I need including 2 extra freshly sharpened chains.

Truer words were never spoken.

If I can duck out of some work responsibilities long enough to ride out to Meadow Lake this weekend, I'll have my sat phone, ham radio and maybe a few video cameras on board. :)
