At least you're giving me the benefit of the doubt that I knew where I was going. Even that's someting of a streach. I'll be there the right weekend this year though. If I can't find a quad to borrow, I'll just bring my faithfull 2-wheeler again. I kind of roll like that.

I heard yellow jackets are a bit of a problem this year. Is this a problem up there? and should I consider bringing traps?

Last year, the yellow jackets were fierce. You should consider bringing traps.

Last year we filled up one or 2 yellow jacket traps

Holy Moly! That's my catch at home for a whole season!

I'm sure it's different up there, but down here at 2,000 feet we didn't put any traps out - I have only seen a couple of them, and almost no wasps either. That spring with no rain really wiped them out.

I'm trying to decide. I'm am currently without quad, so I'd be there to hang out, which doesn't sound too bad.

When does Meadow Lake close for the season?
I think I might be there Friday or Saturday.
