So what's the moratorium before I can start ragging on you??

Well, I'm glad it was something simple - and stupid (see above old gasket in the return fuel line incident). Unfortunately the result is more money having to be spent fixing it. Still early in the season though, you haven't missed anything. Get her fixed up and let's go riding!!

well i did get a new head the other day and it went right to a friends shop to have the vales done, got it back and took apart my old head. this should have never been put back on as the cam was fried and really took its toll . i dont think it has 40 miles on it sence we rebuilt it! so lets see i just had it bored 30 over, new piston , rings and 40 miles . so i take it apart and find out it was doomed the day i put it together. rings cracked abd you can see it hapened when it first went on we can follow the crack ring from the very bottom of the clynder and then you can see where it just was runing in its stroke. oh well just another mess up.we wont know till monday if we can bore it out any more and might have to get a new sleve its really deep!.
if you look at the far guide you can see the how worn it got ,i had cleanrd them up and this happened in 40miles

dave the bottom needs to be redone. so it only needs a new piston, new rings needs to be rebored new cam chain which means i have to pull the cover off the motor flush the motor really good to get all the metal out.the guy said the rod feels great so at this point its only a little bit of work! you know i still think back to how i screwed it all up because i wanted my5th gear back.there was nothing wrong other than that which was runing without it for over a year or 2!! well we all know what happened next! i have learned alot about working on quads and the most inportant thing ive learned is im better at riding them than working on them! and i like to ride way more than work on them.
