Mike...relax...this ain't Pirate4x4. No weld jokes here...because you and Kendo are probably the only 2 that can do it decently.

We envy your welding - as in:

Ferris: We can't pick up Sloane in your car. Mr Rooney would never believe Mr Peterson drives that piece of shit.

Cameron: It's not a piece of shit.

Ferris: It is. Don't worry, I don't even have a piece of shit, I have to envy yours.

I'm no welding inspector, but those sure look nice.

As for your engine parts - that's why I don't take complex things apart, I can't remember how to put them back together! :-)

i have the suzuki manuel, so far this has gone just like i thought it would! first we rounded off the head of the clutch shaft nut ( left hand thread funny thing it even says that in the book #-o ) now i wait for a 59.99 rotor puller get it put it on strip the threads on the puller fix it try again strip it again. #-o take it to my dads shop today and he does some maching on it and i weld it up ,get back put it on everthing feels good then bam breaks the threads on flywheel shaft #-o cut it off repair what we have left on shaft now here is the big key of takeing the rotor shaft off THREAD THE NUT THAT GOS ON THE END TO HELP PROTECT THE THREADS AND SHAFT FROM ANY DAMAGE ! PUT PULLER BACK ON START GOING AND BAM!!! IT POPS OFF WITH A BANG! =D> now we hope the saft is long enough with the repair we had to do [-o< now we try to seperate the case with out the special crankcase puller thats made to do this job  its not going to work so now im at home waiting to order the puller for it next week! no money this week so its going to wait! for future projects i recomend if there is special tools that need to be used get them dont think or say that you can find somthing that will work #-o

Wow, we're a long ways from "well going to try and fix my 5th gear"!

I'm always impressed by you mechanical guys, I could never do that. I've only ever had one of any motor I owned apart and that was a '63 Chevy small block - so simple!

Keep the pictures coming - fun to watch progress!
