Rubicon Trail Patrol - June 30

Postby Ken » Tue Jun 26, 2007 3:20 pm

Anyone interested in doing a trail patrol day, I'll be on the trail with Lori and Mr. Bill for the Friends Of The Rubicon Subway. We'll be going from Loon to Little Sluice...hanging out there..talking to folks.

If you're interested in learning the trail, want to check out what we do for Trail Patrol...this would be a good day.

Figures - we're pouring concrete that day.

You must have caught wind of the work Ken, hence you quickly organized a Trail Patrol weekend.

We're planning on being at Robb's on Friday. So 8:30 is the check in at the dam...but we'll start at the Chalet.

BTW...BFG just canceled....don't want a happy, pat on the back press conference with a fire raging in South Shore....they also think it's too close...I tried to explain it's 18 miles of granite....but oh well.

Fine, I'm out too then. I suppose it has more to do with this annoyance called a job, I need to find something with a lighter schedule

The sign didn't make it but a week...someone(s) stole ALL 3 maps! The maps were expensive to make and were for everyone's benefit. LAME!!!

They do. I've always been amazed at the amount of damage around the forests in terms of signs of any kind. Shot at, ripped down, run over. No explanation.

Anyway, Ken - can a stock ATV run the Rubicon or at least the western part? Bighorns and armor are still a way off for me yet.

Thanks,

Dave
