Did you guys ride the Paiute trail system, since you were in Fillmore??

Yet another destination I wish to add to the list......

Looks beautiful, maybe next year.

Yes the trails around Fillmore are part of the Paiute trail system. There was still too much snow to go up to the high areas. I had planned to ride the Fillmore loop but it was shortened due to snow. :(

Yea I think it is not as bad as it looks. The bags are just soft stuff like sleeping bags etc. I don't think the whole things weighs more than 500lbs. We left off my wife's cot tent. It sets up into a pretty nice camp. If you are gonna haul the gear on a trailer you might as well camp in comfort.

Nice pics! Did you meet "Mad Dog" Mark F. from my videos? He lives in Fillmore and led the jamboree ride to Richfield and back for lunch. He probably led some others as well.

He rides a KQ that used to have bald stockers on it. But after I gave him a raise and got on him for working too hard and not riding enough, he bought some fancy new tires and wheels but still doesn't ride enough.

P.S. - I got on him for not detouring along Paiute Secret Trail during his ride since it basically parallels Paiute 04 that he took into Richfield. We rode and videoed that one last October. He said he didn't know where it was because it was a secret. I told him he was lame, because I was from CA and even I knew where it was.

I don't think so. There were lots of people and I only went on two of the Jamboree rides, and one of them was an overnight ride. Then we went on our camp out ride.

I wish there was some way the towns in California could band together and become ATV friendly like it is in Utah. If we could just link some of the trail segments together, California would rival what they have in Utah.

California doesn't seem to be interested in Motorized Recreation.

Yet they happily collect fees, gas tax, toy hauler taxes, more gas tax, sales tax...etc.

and they embrace the guy who buys a granola bar, shoes at REI and stick.

After our Nevada trip and talking with the guys from Utah, I am more than ready to cut loose and get the fawk outta here. The hairy pit granola munchin tree huggers can have it, I'm tired of fighting.

They donate to Sierra Club...I don't go there anymore, unless I have no alternative. With Cabelas and Sportsman Warehouse....I haven't been in 2 years.
