my self and 17 other riders went to POHO RIDGE off of sly park road
off hwy 50

any way it was a good ride the people from cal serria atv club where great people very mellow croud and the dust was not as bad as i thought it would be
enjoy.

cool pics roon!!!!! that has to be the most expensive ride ive ever seen!look at all the can ams wow!!!!!!!!!!! :shock: looks like a good time. :) did you guys run into any snow?

there was defently can am's every where in the air and nope dry as bone
yea and every can am was a 800 even the chicks!

That "cable thingy" in the attachment point for the North side of cable point. They used to haul lumber across it that had been milled at Pino Grande to the Camino side, then off to the valley. The hotel was called Deer View lodge. It was never really used and burned down shortly after being built. My Grandfather worked at the cable for many years. If you are interested in the history look up a book called "Pino Grande" by R.S. Polkinghorn.

yea i don't know much about it all but some of the guys that went on the ride seem to at least acted like then new alot about all the history
they said some stuff simlar to what you are saying as well

but that is cool i will let them know about the BOOK they ride there alot from what they where saying.
