Meadow Lake Snow Ride 11/13/09

Postby avejoe » Fri Nov 13, 2009 7:21 pm

Went riding today with the Father in Law. Parked on Bowman Rd. and went to the top of the Fordyce. I couldn't talk him into dropping down to the Committee Crossing. Wuss.

DANG!!

That's awesome. I tried to get Kendo to go today....we were going to do the EXACT same ride.

And Jack...is on the trail, camping at Winch Hill #3....he'll be at Meadow Lake tomorrow night.

Those are some awesome pics, man that looks like a lot of fun, I really like riding in the snow. Everything looks so pristine when covered with new snow.

Yep, dem der are me tracks.

Going down WH 3-5 when it was dry was enough thrill for me. Going down it with a few inches of snow did not seem like a wise choice.

It's a creek crossing near a trail that intersects the Fordyce Trail and is used as an entry/exit from the Fordyce without going all the way to Meadow Lake.

Here's a link where you can see the area and the trail maps.

Here are some cool pix to give you more of an idea of what the Fordyce is like.

^ Thank you, thats brutal, it sure must like tires. lol

Looks like a landslide. I've experienced trails similar to that when I lived in British Columbia while dirt biking.
