so couplewidgeon and i went for a little ride.we tryed to get blm to go but he couldnt on short notice. well we found some snow that was more like quick sand. the snow is really melting fast and some would say not fast enough we covered 40 miles and i have never seen so many downed trees!!! i cut over 30 with the saw and now am very sore and beat!



so we stop for a break and i reach in my bag and find a stowaway! its blm,s miny me ! aka potato head

he was a bossy little guy, like he knows how not to get stuck!!!

nice pics, wish i could have made it but on the other hand the last few days before i had cut up several large trees and split over 3 cords of wood from trees that came down at my parents house. Im sure i would have managed to have a good time though as long as i was riding.

Id been waiting for your post, on the ride with anticipation and jealousy, hearing of the amount of down trees softens the blow for sure.

potato head /blm hates the snow too!!!!

so hes mad he starts teasing steve about getting lost a few weeks back and steve lets him have it!

but we still had a great time! steve did this one for makeing fun of him loading his quad!



but even after all this they are still buds!!!!!!!

it was a fun and enjoyable ride. little sore from the tree trimming, but overall had a good time with mike and blm's minney me. once we got things straighten out with him never heard a word from him the rest of the afternoon.

You must be tired of Mr. Potato Head constantly telling you where you can't go!

I'll have to remember to bring my saw on my early trips - it's sure to be a mess up there the way this winter went.

MIke , got a claim to check out by Lake Philbrook. gps cor. 40 00 19.03 n 121 26 3993 w book says flakes and fines. I want to go when the snow melts a bit it is about 6000 ft hope to check it out in the next couple of weeks
