Co2??

Postby BearCat » Thu Feb 16, 2006 12:19 am

Alright anyones thoughts on those little bottles of Co2? Will one 2oz bottle fill a tire to 5psi? Or would it be better to use a small 12v compessor and take an hour and a half to fill one tire?

Bearcat I use the big air co2s because you have to use 2 smaller ones to get 4 or 5 lbs. plus the big airs will reset a bead also. I still carry a hand pump and a 12v compressor. Hope that helps. http://www.bikepartsusa.com/product_inf ... =01-119702

Ah...Thx, think I'll invest in a couple those..Kits with the small bottles are pricey.

Just found this set-up...I think I may be able to mod it for our use. Plus they sell refills in a two-pack already charged. (I dont know of any paint ball places in my area) I'll keep you guys posted on any progress.

BC, Cabela's makes a nice repair kit with glue and plugs, 4 CO2 canisters, and the filler hose all in a nice little case. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templ ... id=0005947 and they also sell the replacement canisters in 3 packs. I wish I could say I've used mine....not really....but it's a pretty nice kit for the price.
