Cool Idea, but it looks like a $12.00 skatebord wheel. I think I would save the money and hit the skate shop.

I'm not so sure a skateboard wheel these days is less than 12 bucks.


What would be cooler...is if it had a split in half with a rubber hinge or something, so you didn't have to undo your cable to put it on.

but if the did do that there would be the weak point for breakage and another pin for possible damage

Here is something I use that works well for me and quite a few riders I know have copied.....A large Kong dog toy. :wink:

I like the concept....but I'd worry about it getting in the way anytime you use pulleys or snatch blocks for mechanical advantage. The cable/rope will be running past it when winching, just something else to keep an eye on.

Not really it stays on the section closest to the quad in that case, and will slide along the cable if it runs into a pulley. 8)

In the event it doesn't slide it may end up balled up in the pulley or fairlead, or up on the winch. I'd just prefer to keep any extras off the rope or pulley when I use the winch.
