My shifter a stiffened up alot and it is hard to get it to stop in neutral. Has anyone had this problem

Yep.... Happens to me from time to time.
05' Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI, 2.5 warn winch, tool box, front grill, rear bumper, gas pack, Magellan Sportrak Pro GPS and Collett radio.

02' Polaris Sportsman 700, ITP 589 m/s, K&N air filter, Polaris front and rear bumpers.

Pull harder.

Every so often it's hard to move....don't know why.

I think it's the watchca ma call it or the do-hicky. Either way... pulling harder on it always seems to work.

Seriously, Not sure why however Ken is correct. Only happens from time time and pulling harder seems to work. I did find when the idle is running just a little high it's harder to get it in gear.
