UNI air filter ?

Postby Stumppuller » Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:32 am

I ordered one on Ebay thanks to Ken having problems with his K/N, now my question is, I have k/n cleaner and oil from my old bike, can I use atleast the oil to spray on the UNI filter? Will it work or should I just use some normal oil?

Thanks

Since it's not cotton like the K&N, you need to use a 'stickier' oil. I bought No Toil for mine, and it is a sticky nasty mess, best to do with some nytrile gloves on. The K&N oil is too thin and will run right out of the Uni.

I bought a kit at the local Polaris deal, had the No Toil oil, rim grease and cleaner. I think it was about $15 and should last for a long time.
