thanks Mr Bill now here a stupid question i've been running my bike with jumper cables to my trucks battery. the battery in quad is stone dead. i assume with the dead battery in the loop is causing these codes

You definitely, definitely should not run the quad with a dead battery.
I lost an engine, because of a dead battery. It's snowball effect...the dead battery causes the POD to wig out...which causes the sensors not to work, which causes the fan not to come on....which causes the quad to overheat....which..........
The quad runs....but it ain't running correctly.
