You better worship the polaris. If you make it un happy you will pay. Ken and I learned our lesson last year when we took ours away from the rocks and to the flat stuff. We broke belts and A arms. Remember worship the polaris and keep it happy.

I was gonna make some smart remark, but Scott pretty much just covered it.

Also, when are we gonna stop talking and do some riding?

Ummmm...what size winch is that???

With the weight of the Polaris...it should be at LEAST 2000....that's bare minimum. 2500lbs is normal...and 3000lbs is what should be used.

I've about maxed out my 2500 a couple of times now. But I keep a snatch block with me just in case. I want the new 3500lb winch.

Oh yeah...Jack and I maxed out our 2500 many times in the snow. A 2500 only pulls about 1800lbs....

It's 2k....You better take a snatch block for the snow....not joking. A 2k winch pulls about 1000-1200 lbs...so basically, only 200-400 lbs more than the quad!

A second snatch block might not be a bad idea.
