Looks Great

Postby popotim » Wed May 20, 2009 11:16 am

Dear fellow 2008 800 owner; Couple of things I found. First they improved the clutching over previous years, and it now engages more abruptly and quickly when you start, and this does make a little clunking noise you may be expirencing. This keeps you from glazing up the belt. Secondly I noticed from your photos, you have a lot of weight up front as I do on mine. I needed to put the larger stock Polaris springs on to keep it from rocking back and forth and bottoming out especially if you put a lot of stuff in the front box like I do. I also stiffened up the rears by one notch. Might want to consider removing the plastic plate around the winch. Gets more air to the radiator and easier access to the disconnect lever. Seriously consider getting StickStopper A-arm protectors. Their steel and work great. Trust me, Your going to love that machine ! Happy Motoring...Tim
