Engine code?

Postby Wildhorse800 » Tue Sep 01, 2009 4:23 pm

How do you read a code on these?

When I turn the key on, the wrench flashes 10 times.

I did try my K&N filter on the last ride and that is when it started.

I just wonder if the MAF sensor is picking up too much air.

I am sure I could read the manual(like men do that), but maybe someone has already run into this.

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.

Read in your owners manual. It for the service interval. You can set it for so many miles to remind your self to change the oil. I don't remember how to get to it off the top of my head. Its something like put it in neutrel hold the reverse over ride and turn the key on. Check the manual to be sure.

I'm not a huge fan of K&N with EFI...it "sucks" too hard. My throttle body was FILLED with dirt. We all use UNI.

I just wonder if it is more the Polaris twins since the RPMs run so high.

I guess I'll have to break down and buy ANOTHER factory one. It has been s pretty dry and dusty year...
