Got the wife something to ride

Postby Wildhorse800 » Fri Sep 11, 2009 2:29 am

Well, it may be a 2000, but I found one in great shape. We will have to wait and see how much she rides this time. She kinda fell out of the sport for a while and after Labor Day weekend, I knew she missed it. Money is tight right now.
I always liked the 400s. It is a 2WD, but the price was right.

2000 Scrambler 400 2WD. Very well maintained. All 4 tires are new along with all 4 old tires that still have 70% tread on them! Rear rack, rear bag and fender extensions all around plus new chain and sprockets.
And when that 2 cycle lights up, it flies! Just a wickedly fun quad. It will be our third Scrammy owned...I am starting to see a pattern...

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.

It only needed some TLC on the all the bushings and chain. It got all lubed up. It needs a steering post bushing and rear brakes.

I am just gonna replace all the brakes. Coming from RMATV.

Got my steering post bushing assembly coming from HPD. I've used these twice before and they are bulletproof and worth every penny.

I really HPD products.
