Software...

Postby Mr. Miyagi » Thu Mar 11, 2004 10:24 am

OMG - Ken, the new quads have software! Your a software kinda guy, you must be sportin wood about now. But like all software and their software engineers... they need a couple of tries to get it right. lol....

Actually, it sounds interesting. I wonder how this stuff hooks up after a season of riding in the various conditions? Time will tell.....

Does EFI really makea difference

Postby MrPolaris » Wed Apr 14, 2004 7:34 am

With this new model coming out it will only be a matter of time till the next other brands have it

What I wonder is how well is this baby sealed. with the carb you have a snorkel that will allow you to get deep into water, will the EFI also allow that?

I also wonder if the 10 miles of difference in gas mileage is really a difference in the whole scheme of things. Dang twin cylinders burn that fuel . . .

Supposedly, it's all waterproof. But it has a "Safe" mode, incase the computer is compromised.

As for the snorkle....if you're really going underwater...EFI still needs air..so you'd need a snorkle.
