I been up some stuff that the quads wouldn't go up weekend before last. You don't have to worry about rollin the ranger. Just think Bill could get a enclosed cab and haul anything he wants..

Looks like a cool rig, the tires look pretty weak though. Maybe that is cause they are not meant for the heavy trail riding and off roading that the Sportsman 600 + models are meant for?

Yea I saw that also.
May be trying to save some money.
You never got those POS 25" radials like others in the 2003,2004 year models.
Don't get me wrong, they ride great but they must be 3.5 or 4 plye tires.

The Radial tires that they have now that have 6 ply are awesome, but many they get pricy, the only reason that I can see of going with these tires is they tread better on grass type turf for that Turf mode you can put it into.

Wonder how hard it would be to run some of the trails in Turf mode. . .

Heres the word from Polaris.
I talked to them yesterday.
The 25" tires are to keep the center of gravity a little lower when riding two.
It has a dump bed.
same gear box as the 500 HO (clutch kit would be first move)
Production will start mid January 06 and dealer delivery will be mid Feb.
If the rear box is loaded to the max 400 lbs. The rear axles will straight. (no rock crawling with 400 lbs in the back)

I'm not looking to haul 400 lbs. just a bigger space for loading camping equipment, gas, water, and beer.

Boy that 2up is looking good. I stopped by the dealer last night. He will give credit for the rims and tires that I don't want on it. $800.00 rebate, three year warranty.

Say Chadddd
They said the new 450 sportman has more HP than the 500HO has.
Do you know what HP the 500EFI has?
Do you know how the four wheel EBS works on the 2up?

The 450 does not have more power than the 500.. it has more than the 400 but not very noticable.

I don't know the HP on the 500 I'll see if i can find out

There is no 4 wheel EBS on the X2

There is no $800 rebate on the X2 that i know of...

Whats the OTD price?

I have not gotten the OTD yet.
In the sales class my dealer was told that it does have 4 wheel EBS under 15MPH. Not in his hand book from class but, he remembers a hydraulic schematic that was put up in class.
Ask one of your sales guys if they got that info from the 05/06 training.
If I get one the price should be good do to the fact this will be my fourth quad from him.
