Damn, EFI rocks. Just picked up the 800 today and reached for the choke and throttle (habit). I'm also used to getting a little run at the ramps when it's cold...no need with the EFI. Crawled right up them with the cold motor. Really diggin this machine.

I did the SAME DAMN thing on Steve's. Went to pull the choke, and saw the EFI diagnostic port.....and said "BASTARD".

Stayed in town for this one. I've bought items through Grey and have had a couple great quotes from them on sleds and quads. Good people!
My local dealer hired a great fella. They have their bases covered now and they worked with me on a good deal on the 800 hunter package (camo rims, heated hand and thumb, gps and cheesey mount). Its nice to have a local dealer...for instance, my buddy and I were heading out to go sledding and noticed a crack in an A-arm. Ran by the dealer, picked up one in stock and replaced it on the trailer in the parking lot. We were back heading up the hill in less than an hour.

Mine is on the left side....with the Magellan bike mount....that I've broke twice.

Chadd, I mounted it on left side using the large grommet and SHOVED as tight against the master cylinder as possible so that the face of the gps is as far past vertical as possible (a slight incline to it).
I have a Garmin Rhino that I love and normally carry it in the bag...but this garmin 76 setup should be fair. On the right side I have a ram drink holder..lol.
the mount appears to be a bike mount too. modified? how? Ram is quite slick.

Yes I just broke the Magellen Bike Mount as well,so, made a new one. It might be for sale soon as I am looking at the new explorist's. This isn't quite finished, still need to polish the aluminum and cut the brass rod down abit. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll keep ya in mind if this one goes.

Nice bracket!!
How did you get the tube to attach to the plastic holder? That steel back plate, is what keeps ripping out the 4 little screws. I tried epoxy'ing the crap out of it....but it still breaks.
I wish they make a METAL holder for ATV's.

Ken..
I drilled then tapped for 6-32 Button head cap screws (right to the bottom of those 4 holes) get the longest screws possible. The ones I put on that mount almost bottom out when they are in place. Worst case is drilling right through then cutting the screws flush with the front of the mount. Use a 3/32 drill this is abit smaller that the correct tap-drill and will give you plenty to bite with the tap.
