HighLifter HD spring set for 600-700

Postby rangertom » Wed Feb 15, 2006 8:32 pm

Anybody here bought this set? Like 'em? Hate 'em?

How was the install?

Was the tool included to compress the springs worth a dang?

Thanks...

I checked a couple of months ago and the adjusters do not fit our springs.

check this out, Bill!

I emailed Damon @ highlifter this morning,

Here's his response:
Tom,

Our high lifter lift spring kit is only available in yellow, as far as your application, we only have these at this time for the front, it will add 25lbs more of load capacity per spring, meaning, 50lbs total for the front, the rear is still in production stage, we are awaiting there arrival.

Thanks

I referenced the part # and title of the part set, and put my machine model and year in the subject line.

Odd answer for having them "available for purchase" on their website.

Tom, can you add spacers to the springs to get a bit more tension??? just an idea.

I don't see why not, Dave. I just was thinking the right way to accomplish the "mission" here was to just install firmer springs. I'll probably end up going the cheap route and doing the spacer idea.
