Carb Drain tube?

Postby Joey2 » Wed Mar 22, 2006 3:29 am

Decided to drain the carb (moisture and sediment) a few days ago and realized that the drain tube was missing.

Does the dealer sell these by themselves?

Or I could just buy a 1/4" tube and make my own drain tube but I think that there was a small plastic valve (disc shaped) which I assume allows only one direction of fluid flow (away from the carb). How important is the valve?

Yea that disk is a check valve. You should have it on the rig. It must of fallen down into the cracks. The Dealer shoud have some or check a fish store bubble tube.

That tube runs down along the backing plate of the clutch.
