I think Dusty (aka: Polaris_Man) just installed one....
05' Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI, 2.5 warn winch, tool box, front grill, rear bumper, gas pack, Magellan Sportrak Pro GPS and Collett radio.

02' Polaris Sportsman 700, ITP 589 m/s, K&N air filter, Polaris front and rear bumpers.

I installed a ramsey 3000 in my 2005 800, but they are basically the same frame. . .

I put the selenoid under the right side near the gas thank. there is a small tray like thing that that I was able to mount it to. When I get home this weekend will take a picture or two for you and show you what I did. . .

I might have install diagrams that I can scan from Warn. I put the 2500 on my 05/700 ...It was a polaris pre-wired kit?

mine was pre-wiried with the leads from the batery. the leads went form the battery, along the frame to a spot just under the pod (under the plastic cover behind the storage box. This is one of the reasons why I mounted it where I did.
