Never heard of it...I mean like...NEVER.

Unless someone knows something I don't...I would file that under TOO GOOD BE TRUE.

A Warn winch for an ATV should NOT cost you 500. I think I got mine for under 275. Mounting bracket was $45 from a guy on Ebay...it was sweet.

Maybe it's the same way Polaris SP800 quads are advertised on eBay for $2000. or Harley Road Kings advertised on eBay for $4000. Ain't ever gonna happen...... Otherwise, if it's real the winch is made of paper. Bottom line, you get what you pay for...... Maybe it's one of those stick ons and for looks only...... Don't do it.

Actually there are a couple of winches on eBay in that price range, some just a little more. I've read some of the specs and they look like they are comparable to the Warn. The Venom's seem to get more good reviews on what I've read.

Here's my take; if you really think you're going to need a winch then spend the extra and go with the Warn. If it's just to have in case, you can probably get by with a lesser winch. 99% of the time a friend could probably pull you out with just a $25 dollar strap, it's that 1% you need to think about. I know I'll go places I wouldn't if I didn't have the ability to get myself out.

I'm wondering...is that same Gorilla, that makes the axles? I wonder if they're lowballing to get into the market? But then again...Gorilla axels aren't exactly cheap.

looks like hey did a good marketing job on E_Bay. . . I personally have the Ramsey instead of the Warn. I got it cause it had a remote control I could operate away form the bike (In case I want to pull it straight up a tree or something I guess. . . I paid a little less than the Warn (and even though I have not used it on a tail, it does pull really well in my back yard. I was moving a shed from one side of hte yard to the other and wanted to try it out. . .

Make sure all the puddles are dry between you and the shed. ;)
