gear selector

Postby browningejm » Sun Apr 09, 2006 6:58 am

the gear selector on my 2000 sportsman 500 gets stuck in reverse once in a while (2x in 4 days). Do the rods need to be adjusted or is there something worn out that need to be replaced in the gear selector? I put new rod ends on the shifter rods so I know it ain't that. TIA,ERIK

You have the old "h" shift pattern.
You need to adjust. I have the book would like the four pages emailed in pdf.
Just PM me with an email address.
