ok went ridin yesterday loved it lots of mud but noticed going down steep hills when ebs kicked in loud squeak started comin from bike. would go away if held brake what is makin noise?

Ok Extreme, If you watch some Of the vids here do you hear the same noise? Alot if not all Polaris brakes "squeak" at least thats my observation. Are you sure thats not what you are hearing? Not sure if its the stock pads or what but some guys have said going to the EBC pads stop the squeak.

it's not the breaks thats what i thought at first so i took the pads off and went down short hill and still squeak dosen't do it in N only H an L it's got to be belt is it normal. i took cover off belt it's not shiny or worn looks new.

Mine makes noise when traveling downhill sometimes. I just give the brakes a slight squeeze, it will then go away.
