Yes they can be.
When standing look down at the clutches you should read Polaris and the part number on the top of the belt.
This is one I will never get, when we have EBS it will pull the belt both on and off the gas. It should not mater but it does.

Bringing up an old thread.

I was thinking about doing this upgrade to an 02 700 that I am most likley going to acuire this summer and wanted to get some more background. Will an 06 or newer clutch setup work for this application? What would adding a heal clicker do with the clutch upgrade? Thanks for the info

The new style will just bolt right on. and get a new 800 belt.

I have the 06 Primary clutch and I don't need the heelclicker. Keep the stock 02 clutch and I would go for a heelclicker. Right now the new style heelclicker and the new style clutch is just to new and everyone is still playing with the set-up's( i.e. $24 for a spring and it does not do it then another $24 spring it can add up fast) Just plug and play with the new style primary.

From what I hear the heelclicker on a new style clutch it just adds midrange torque.

Hey Junfan..I've got alot of miles on the primary since the up-grade. Very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone. Theres more lower end power and the power seems balanced from low to high RPM ranges. They are pricey but we all know theres no cap on modifications LOL. Do as Bill suggested and get the 800 belt..runs cooler and is Kevlar reinforced instead of the regular cord on older belts.
