Really sucks to hear about the gorilla problems, I was planning to get them, but I will stick with my stock axles as they have been great with my 1-1/2" lift kit in the front and rear for the last 1000 miles of hell and back beatings LOL.

I even have a handfull of customers with the 2" front lift and 1-1/2" rear lift with all stock axles and zero problems so maybe the stock CV's ARE better for the smaller sized lift kits, or maybe its just that the kit is built differently and things all work together a little better with my setup???? :-k

I was talking with these guys.

They sell Monster axels and they talked about this problem with the gorilla brand. They say the monster axels don't have this problem

Of course "they say"...since they're a competitor.

I'd like to hear an independent opinion...I bet a ton guys on the Highlifter site have the Gorillas.

without a doubt, the owner of HL and the owner of Gorilla are close buds from my understanding, and HL sells the gorilla line of products so you can bet that a ton of the members over there have them, in fact, i post there a lot and i know for a fact that it is a popular item with most of those guys....
